Empty House Art Lab is our playground for bringing together artists and writers in safe spaces for creating collaboratively, learning from each other, and exploring our art practices. The Art Lab is an experiment spearheaded by Jennifer S. Cheng and Christina Tran.
Our first Empty House Art Retreat is a weekend creative’s retreat for women in a quiet, empty house in SF. The empty house will serve as a room of our own, a homebase, indoor campground, and blank canvas for: art, conversation, rest, inspiration, and process-sharing. Key aspects include:
- Being in nature together;
- Workshops wherein we share our respective crafts & practices with each other;
- And a pop-up gallery space for showcasing our work.
